Donations/Gifts
Do we take donations? Absolutely! Artomatic@Frederick is a 501(c)3 non-profit event and is staffed completely by volunteers. There are significant operating expenses associated with producing an event of this magnitude so any and all contributions are sincerely appreciated! Lean about the impact art has on the community and about donating here.

There are several ways to contribute:
You can go to the sponsorship page, download the form, and simply follow the instructions on the page.

Of course it is much more fun to donate in person and receive a gift!
For a $10 donation receive a cool Artomatic glass

For a $15 donation receive a cool Artomatic hat
For a $15 donation you receive a free Artomatic T-shirt. Get all 3 for $30!
For a $40 donation receive a glass, hat, and T-shirt!

Maps and Brochures
I have a friend who has an exhibit. How do I find him/her? Just inside the main entrance of each building are Welcome areas with information tables where event brochures and visitor maps can be picked up. Brochures will also be available in other areas throughout the building such as sponsor lounges. These amazing brochures contain an Artist directory identifying the building and room of most artists. For your convenience, floor plans are also included in the brochure.

Visitor maps will be also be available. These are very similar to the floor plans shown in the brochure but contain some updated venue information that visitors may find useful. Download the visitor map here.

In addition to artist and building information, these brochures contain other useful tidbits such as:

  • Detailed information on performances and bands
  • Calendars
  • Demonstrations
  • Special Events

Lounges and Concessions
Sponsor Lounges are located on most floors of both buildings. They are identified on the visitor map. We encourage everyone to visit the lounges and support the sponsors who play a key role in the success of this event. Lounges will host live entertainment during the course of the entire Artomatic event. Check the event calendar frequently as it will be updated as performances are booked.

Snacks and drinks are available at several concession stands in both buildings.

Art Purchases
I love that painting of a green and orange cupid with dragon wings holding a can of mace... and I just realized it is my wife’s birthday today. Can I purchase it?

YES! Most artwork is for sale. There are several ways to purchase that special gift:

To purchase art work on display at a designated artist’s display area, purchases must be arranged directly with the artist. Artist contact information will be provided. However, ALL art must remain in the buildings until the Artomatic event is over in October. This is primarily for security reasons. Since negotiations are private and artists may be present for only a small percentage of the time, the Artomatic volunteers cannot tell if a sale has been made or somebody is trying to steal a piece of art work or if somebody just finds a piece of art strongly displeasing.

The second way to purchase art is at the Artists’ Markets. There are two market spaces, rooms 28 and 29 in building 2 that Artists’ rent to facilitate selling their work to the public. Up to five artists at a time can share a market space with different artists rotating each day.
